Superb site next to the River Wharfe. Great wild swimming around here (when it's warm enough!)

Stunning gorge setting bookended by two waterfalls. Rudimentary facilities, but hey, you can't have it all!

Pretty site close to Farrow Waterfall

Great base for walking and having a crack at one (or all three!) of the Yorkshire Three Peaks

Day 2 Side Farm - Patterdale, Ullswater
Very popular site so get there early, lakeside site with amazing views of Ullswater and Helvellyn
Day 3 Castlerigg Hall Camping & Carvanning Park
Well organised site & great for exploring the lakes town of Keswick and the surrounding area
Day 4 Wasdale Campsite National Trust
A fantastic site at the head of the lake, peaceful & serene with cracking scenery. One to get away from it all
Day 5 Fisherground Campsite - Eskdale
Great family site in quiet western lakes. Loads to do for adults and kids alike
Day 6 Low Wray Campsite - National Trust - Ambleside
Another gem from the National Trust. A stonesthrow from the lake edge & beautiful to boot!
